Beyond academics, Sheridan Academy teaches social skills, manners and respect. Sheridan Academy is a place where students are expected to be dependable, responsible, polite and work hard. Students are rewarded when they do well, and expected to do the work over if they don’t. Sheridan Academy provides clear boundaries, logical consequences and positive reinforcement. This business-like approach prepares students for success at a university and in the workforce.
Students at Sheridan Academy are taught that giving back to the community in which they live is a responsibility that we all have. Sheridan students are required to complete a set amount of volunteer hours each semester. Some projects will be through the school while others will be with organizations of the students choice outside of school hours.
