Why Sheridan Academy?

With a student body between 30-40 students, and class sizes emphasizing small-group instruction (ranging between 6-10 students per teacher), students receive individualized instruction, including targeted help and attention. This creates a close-knit community (where students feel safe and included) and improved academic performance.

Beyond academics, Sheridan Academy teaches social skills, manners and respect. It is a place where students are expected to be dependable, responsible, polite and hard-working. They are rewarded when they do well, and expected to do the work over if they don’t. Sheridan Academy provides clear boundaries, logical consequences and positive reinforcement.

This parent-teacher-student team approach prepares students for success at a university and beyond.
