Teresa Stanfill has been on the Board of Directors for Sheridan Academy since 2012 and currently holds the position of Vice President.
Teresa has a BSN (Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing) from Pacific Lutheran University and an MSN (Master’s of Science in Nursing) from Idaho State University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree from the University of Kansas.
Teresa’s volunteer work includes Job’s Daughters International, Ronald McDonald House of Idaho, DeMolay International, and Idaho Public Television. When not working or volunteering, Teresa is studying Scottish Gaelic.
Teresa is married to Joe Stanfill (also on the Board of Directors). They have two children: Heather and Kevin. Their son, Kevin, attended Sheridan Academy beginning in the 4th grade and graduated from Sheridan at the age of 16. Kevin completed a baccalaureate degree at BSU in History and currently lives and works in Boise.

Benjamin Hoopes, Board Member
Ben Hoopes is a registered patent attorney with Berkeley Law & Technology Group, practicing primarily in intellectual property procurement. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and has experience programming in a variety of languages including C, Java, and PHP.
Mr. Hoopes’ hardware-related experience includes digital design, mixed-signal VLSI design, and semiconductor fabrication. While attending law school, Mr. Hoopes was a managing editor and staff member of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology, where he leveraged his technical expertise and attention to detail to review and prepare scientific- and intellectual property-related articles for publication.
Mr. Hoopes has experience procuring electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software patents. His range of experience includes assisting a wide range of clients, from large multi-national corporations to small start-ups, to gain protection for and protect their intellectual property. He also has experience counseling clients regarding the monetization of their intellectual property, including general counseling and advice and reviewing licensing and operating agreements. Mr. Hoopes also has experience in intellectual property and complex business litigation.
Robert Inman, Board Member
Rob is a 2007 graduate of the Sheridan Academy. Having attended Sheridan gives him a unique perspective on the inner workings of the school. He sees that being a member of the board of directors is a great way to give back to a school that contributed so much to his future success. Rob is currently Director of Operations at Best Homes Network.
